Do you know your true sexual age? What it is and why you should care.

We talk a lot about true sexual age, especially if you’ve taken our sexual health quiz. If you’ve taken the quiz, you know what your sexual age is. But what is sexual age, how do we calculate it, and how can you use it to improve your sexual stamina?
Most importantly, how do you lower your sexual age so that it’s equal to or younger than your chronological age?
Those are the important questions we’re going to answer in this blog post.
Sexual age refers to how much sexual stamina you have and how well you perform in bed compared to other men your age. It’s also a measure of how your physical health impacts your sex life. it’s an important measure because it can guide you into taking steps to defend against sexual decline.
Sexual age is not the same thing as chronological age. You could be only 60 years old chronologically, but your sexual age could be in the 80s or higher. Men who are noticing problems in the bedroom usually have a higher sexual age.
Your sexual age can tell you A LOT about your sexual health. First and foremost, it can let you know if you’re at risk for sexual decline. Sexual age can also tell you how far along your sexual decline has progressed.
What’s more, sexual age serves as a wake-up call that you need to take charge of your sexual health now, while you can still do something about it.
As you start to work on ways to improve your sexual health, your sexual age should go down. It’s a good way to track your progress.
When we created our sexual health quiz, we consulted with a urologist to find out which red flags signal sexual decline. Based on that consultation, here are the factors involved in calculating sexual age:
Body mass index
How you feel about your sexual health
Whether you’ve noticed a decline in your sexual performance as you’ve gotten older
Whether you’re able to stay hard long enough for satisfying sex
The type of foods you eat
What type of health conditions you have
The type of medications you’re taking
Based upon your answers to questions about all of the above factors, our quiz calculates your sexual age and can gauge how you’re doing compared to other guys your age.
It’s possible to turn back the clock on your sexual age. First, avoid sugar, fruit juices, and refined carbs like cakes, cookies, and anything made from white flour.
Research shows that eating a Mediterranean diet is one of the best ways to defend against sexual decline.1 On a Mediterranean diet, you’ll eat lots of fish, whole grains, nuts, fruits, and vegetables. Studies also show that intermittent fasting is another way to support sexual health,2 as we mentioned in our blog post on the topic.
Second, get moving. Men who exercise have better sexual health, and moderate to vigorous aerobic exercise can do wonders for your sex life.3
Finally, support your sexual health by choosing the right strategy for you. Options include ED pills, a penis pump, or Li-ESWT, which you can have done at a urologist’s office (more expensive) or at home using a special device (more affordable and equally effective).
These strategies can reduce your sexual age and lead to better sexual health.
